CEC MEMBERS & BUZZ BROADBAND CUSTOMERS: Out of an abundance of extreme caution due to the serious risks posed by hazardous roadways, the CEC and Buzz Broadband offices will remain closed and will resume normal business hours and operations on Monday, January 27th. This Friday fell on the Friday that that we would be closed normally since changing to the 9/80 schedule. As stated in previous notices this week, there will be no cut offs or fees for the rest of this week or this weekend. We encourage everyone to stay safe, enjoy this historic event and give us a call if you experience a power outage. The number is 800-239-1193 or you can use the CEC App as well. As always, we have crews on call to resolve any loss of power that may occur. Thank you. COVINGTON ELECTRIC COOPERATIVES’ H2O Water Heater Participants: PowerSouth will initiate Water Heater Load Control Events from 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., each morning during the same hours through Thursday, Jan. 23rd. We will attempt to notify CEC's participants in the H2O Load Control Program through automated text messaging. The H2O participants signed up for this program and should have adequate hot water stored in their tanks for normal usage. We appreciate the cooperation of our H2O participants during these peak shaving efforts.
