CEC taking extra precautions to protect employees and members from COVID-19 exposure

Covington Electric Cooperative is taking extra precautions and adjusting plans as needed to protect employees and members from COVID-19 exposure

​​​​Effective Thursday, March 19, 2020, the lobbies at all Covington Electric Cooperative offices will be closed to the public until further notice.

As a health precaution for employees and co-op members, Covington Electric Cooperative is practicing COVID-19 social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC.

Payments can still be made at the offices where kiosks are available which include Sanford, Enterprise and Samson. The drive-thru windows in Sanford and Enterprise will remain open during normal business hours. As always, payments can also be made online or over the phone.

Member Service Representatives will answer phone calls during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Linemen and other operations staff will work modified shifts during regular business hours, and they will continue with the normal schedule for outage response or other after-hours calls.
