CEC continues precautions to protect employees and members from COVID-19 exposure

Covington Electric Cooperative is continuing to take extra precautions and adjusting plans as needed to protect employees and members from COVID-19 exposure

​​​​As you may recall, effective Thursday, March 19, 2020, the lobbies at all Covington Electric Cooperative offices closed to the public until further notice. (Update May 1: The CEC drive thru windows opened during regular business hours at the Enterprise and Sanford locations.)

As a health precaution for employees and co-op members, Covington Electric Cooperative is practicing COVID-19 social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC. We ask that CEC members honor the practice of social distancing as well while interacting with our employees to help prevent the possible spread of COVID-19.

Payments can be made by mail (18836 US Hwy 84, Andalusia, AL 36421) and at the offices where kiosks are available which include Sanford, Enterprise and Samson. As always, payments can also be made online or over the phone.

Member Service Representatives will answer phone calls during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Linemen and other operations staff will work modified shifts during regular business hours, and they will continue with the normal schedule for outage response or other after-hours calls.
