Christmas Card Art Contest

This annual contest is open to students in the 5th grade

Each year, Covington Electric Cooperative encourages interested fifth graders who live on our lines or attend a school served by CEC to submit a design for the Annual Christmas Card Art Contest.

This contest is an opportunity for local students to share their artistic gifts and Christmas spirit. The student with the first place winning design will be rewarded with a cash prize and their design will reach hundreds of individuals and businesses — locally and nationally — through greeting cards from CEC. It will also grace the cover of CEC’s December issue of Alabama Living magazine.

Judges select winning entries for first place, second place and third place. These students receive cash prizes of $75 (first), $50 (second) and $25 (third). The winners will also have their photos taken with their designs and will be featured in Alabama Living.
