The 2019 CEC Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 4, at the Kiwanis Community Center located south of Andalusia on County Road 56. CEC members are encouraged to attend this year’s special meeting as the co-op celebrates 75 years of service.
Registration for the meeting will begin at 3 p.m. There are no designated lines for registering so members can walk up to any Member Services Representative (MSR) at the registration tables to register at the meeting. CEC employees will be ready to answer questions and assist members as needed.
Entertainment provided by Elvis impersonator Jerome Jackson will begin at 5 p.m., and the main group, The Talleys, will start about 6 p.m. The business session will begin at 7 p.m. The Talleys are one of Christian music’s most beloved and respected families. Their commitment to excellence and creativity in music have been their trademark and their clear communication of the gospel is a defining characteristic of a Talley concert.
More than 30 cash door prizes will be given to lucky CEC members at the meeting. The six major prizes to be given away include three chances for a $2,500 bill credit, $600 cash, $500 cash and $400 cash. Other important details about the meeting including bylaw changes are featured in the March issue of Alabama Living, along with information about board candidates up for election and eligibility requirements for prizes. During the business session, a brief report on CEC’s 2018 operations will be presented and the winning board candidates representing Districts III and IV will be announced.
The CEC offices will close at 2 p.m. on the day of annual meeting (April 4). CEC appreciates the continued support of its members and they look forward to seeing everyone at the annual membership meeting this year.
