Voting in this year’s board of trustees election began on March 3, and ballot packets have been mailed out to all CEC members with active electric accounts. Voting will end on April 1, for online and mail-in ballots. The 2025 CEC Virtual Annual Meeting Webcast will be held live on Thursday, April 3, at 3 p.m., on our website https://covington.coop.
As a member-owner of CEC, this is your opportunity to make sure your vote voice is heard!
Here’s what you need to know:
• Each packet contains candidates’ information and a ballot. There is one candidate up for election in District III (Brantley) and four candidates competing in District IV (Kinston).
• Open your ballot packet, follow the instructions to vote online, or complete and mail it back to the address shown on the ballot by April 1, to receive a $10 bill credit and be entered to win up to a $2,500 bill credit!
