Flex Advantage allows CEC members to purchase a set amount of kilowatt-hours in advance and avoid delinquent fees and deposits for service. System alerts notify the member when their kilowatt-hours are getting low and they can call CEC 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to purchase more.
Members can also add money to their account using the CEC payment kiosks at the Sanford, Enterprise and Samson locations. Of course members can always purchase electricity in person at any CEC office during normal business hours Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM. If your pre-pay account disconnects due to a negative balance, you must make a payment that not only covers the negative balance but also creates a positive balance on your account in order to reactivate your meter. If your pre-pay account remains disconnected for 10 days, the account will go inactive and you must speak with a Covington Electric Member Services Representative to reactivate your account and your meter.
