Buzz Broadband Restoration Update – 10/13/26

Our fiber crews have made significant progress in restoring service following the widespread damage caused by Hurricane Isaias. We are pleased to report that all main fiber lines across our service area are now back in service.
Buzz Broadband serves approximately 9,600 customers, and as of this update, only 120 customers remain without internet service. Our dedicated Buzz fiber crews, along with assisting contract fiber crews, are diligently working to reconnect every remaining customer as quickly and safely as possible. We have been working extended hours throughout the restoration effort and will continue doing so until all service has been restored.
While Hurricane Isaias caused extensive damage to parts our fiber network, including downed mainline fiber routes and service drops to individual homes, our crews have made tremendous progress in overcoming these challenges. We fully expect to restore service to most remaining customers by this evening and anticipate completing all repairs no later than Wednesday, Oct. 14.
We sincerely thank our customers for their patience and understanding during this restoration effort. Your support and cooperation have been greatly appreciated as our crews work tirelessly to reconnect our communities.
